Precious Pipis is a boutique centre, licensed for just 30 children, allowing us to provide individual, high-quality care.
We offer a home away from home, where play is at the heart of our curriculum.
Our teachers build strong, trusting relationships with children to nurture their holistic well-being and lay the
foundations for lifelong learning. We are passionate about offering endless opportunities for exploration, discovery,
experimentation, play, and creativity in a child-centred environment.
Precious Pipis maintains a high teacher-to-child ratio with Qualified and experience teachers that exceeds Ministry
standards. This ensures we prioritize quality learning and care for our tamariki during their most precious and
important years.
At Precious Pipis, we value connection and communication with our whānau. We use Storypark to keep you updated
on your child’s journey, with photos, learning notes, and daily photo updates. Family involvement is central to us,
and we encourage you to engage with us through this platform. Storypark is where you'll find all the information
you need to welcome you to Pipis, including what to pack, our policies, and teacher introductions.
Precious Pipis operates with a waitlist, so if you would like to enrol your child, please return an enrolment form.
We will collect the enrolment fee when a space is confirmed and saved.
Nappies, formular and food is to be provided by parents/caregivers, along with a water-only drink bottle. We
encourage healthy food choices and waste-free lunch boxes. Ministry of Health safe food guidelines will be provided
upon enrolment and are encouraged. Nut and egg products may be packed until we have a child with an allergy, at
which point we will reassess our policy.
We invite you to visit our centre—more than once if needed—to get a true sense of whether Precious Pipis is the
right fit for you and your child. We understand that choosing the right environment for your little one is a big
decision, and we want you to feel completely confident in your choice.
