Our Philosophy

At precious Pipis we strive to provide a home like environment where children should feel safe and secure, supported by welcoming, caring experienced Educators.

We believe children should be given a range of opportunities to explore in an environment that promotes learning, discovery and respect, inspired by the principles and the guidelines of the New Zealand early childhood curriculum - Te Whaariki.

Developing strong parent-teacher partnerships within the centre setting will encourage reciprocal relationships which celebrate the uniqueness of each family and value the contribution that they bring to our community.

Parents – To trust that high quality care and education is provided.

Teacher – To have an understanding of the child's individual development and provide an enriching, stimulating environment. Management will provide support and opportunities for teachers to develop their own learning.

Children - to feel confident and capable within themselves, where they feel they can contribute to the community.

Environment – to be warm, safe and stimulating, extending a childs learning opportunities.
